The NYC Solidarity Economy map is a community generated map of local economic practices that support principles of solidarity, mutualism, and cooperation, equity in all dimensions, putting the well-being of people before profit, sustainability, participatory democracy, and community-driven social change and economic development. It is by no means complete, but represents a beginning collective effort to identify the practices we believe are necessary to create local living economies that support the well-being and security of our local communities.
