Location

The Bakersfield Office manages a number of varied projects, including over 110,000 acres of Wilderness, a number of oil, gas, and non-energy mineral lease sites, and historical sites ranging from fossil beds to the the abandoned Keyesville mining district. It also manages over 200,000 acres of the Carrizo Plain National Monument, the California Coastal National Monument, and the historic Piedras Blancas Lighstation.
